This Data Retention Policy explains how long internship-related information and documents are stored on https://internships.allmyprojects.in/.
1. Types of Data Stored
We store:
A. Student Details
- Name, Email, SAP ID, Roll Number, Mobile Number
- Academic details (Year, Division, Department)
B. Internship Application Data
- Company name & address
- Internship role
- Duration & dates
- Stipend
- Mode (Online/Offline/Hybrid)
C. Uploaded Documents
- NOC copies
- Offer letter / joining letter
- Completion certificate
- Evaluation reports
- Final internship report
- Any supplementary files provided by the student
2. Retention Duration
A. NOC Request Data:
Retained until the end of the academic year in which the student applied.
B. Internship Completion Documents:
Retained for 3 to 5 academic years, depending on institutional policy, for:
- Verification
- Audit and accreditation
- Academic record maintenance
- Compliance with university and regulatory requirements
C. Server Logs & Technical Data:
Retained for up to 12 months for security purposes.
3. Reasons for Retention
We retain the above data to:
- Comply with academic regulations
- Support audit and accreditation processes
- Resolve disputes regarding internship credits
- Provide historical academic records
- Verify authenticity of documents
- Maintain continuity and compliance
4. Secure Storage
All data is stored in:
- Secure WordPress database
- Protected directories for file uploads
- Restricted-access backend only available to authorized faculty/staff
- Regular backups for data integrity
We use SSL encryption to protect data in transit.
5. Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your data after completion of all internship academic requirements, provided:
- No audit or compliance process is pending
- The data is no longer required by the department
- The student has completed the course or graduated

6. Backup Copies
Backups may contain older versions of data.
Deletion from backups occurs automatically as backup cycles overwrite older archives (typically 30–90 days).
7. Changes to the Policy

- Changes in institutional guidelines
- Changes in regulatory requirements
- Improvements to the portal
